To Become a Poet

Well, I am very novice to blogging.. so pasting one of my old poems here( Hard core poets please forgive me for calling this a poem)

To Become a poet

If anyone asks of my hobby
proudly i reply "poetry"
'so you are a poet'
I often remain quiet.

This is an easy way to earn fame
though your theme is strong or lame
you often play with words,
Describing plants,trees and Birds

Gramatical errors termed poetic beauty
negative statements called irony
illogical words as pun
which often reaches none.

To become a poet inspiration one does require
which certainly cant be put for hire
To be shakespere,Milton or Wordsworth
Wit and imagination should easily comeforth

if these a poet does lack
He is certainly on a wrong track.

First of all my ernest apologies to all the people who have navigated to my blog(incidentally or accidentally) and found nothing here..Well lemme tell you you haven't missed much!! and my apologies are also due to my sweet blogger account which i kept dormant all these while:-)
